I doubt if we will see 'Welsh Muslims' protesting on the 11 November and I suspect motives of 'extreme' Muslim Islamists who have come up with this idea as it does more damage to Muslim - English/British Community Relations. Any point will be lost in the 'mouthiness' of protesters and an even noisier reaction from those who oppose them, plus it will unite such as the British Legion, British Army, Army Vets and Relatives along with mass media with the EDL and WDL if such a 'body' still exists. There is of course an huge threat of community violance annd this is what organisations as the BNP and EDL would relish, so who will gain and will loose? At same time, Muslims who object to British Wars in the Middle East from Libya to Afghanistan have every right to protest as Irish and British Supporters protested against the War in 'Occupied Ireland but I cannot remember such protests being on 11th November Remembrance Sunday other than that stupid awful 'Enniskillen Bombing' atrocity.

To my mind, I consider it rash and foolish for
such demonstrations on 11th November when
such protests could as easy be made at other
times certainly not at Military Funeral processions
either but at Military recruiting exhibitions. As
for 11th November why not hold
alternative commemorations to
remember Muslim Dead as the Irish
do on Easter Monday and Welsh Nationalists do on the 11th December annually. As it is said, there is a time and place!
