Jac is again peddling idea of a Nationalist or an Independence Party but as Alwyn says we have been down that road before, Unfortunatly, it's not on and why? Quite simply for all the same reasons as to why all 'Alternative Poltical Nationalism' fails, not least the Welsh Independence Party.

Both Jac and Misarable Old Fart themselves are besotted with 'Language Issues' and cannot escape 'Cultural Nationalism' which majority of people even native 'Cymraeg' speakers in what's left of 'Y Fro Cymraeg' have no real interest in unless of direct economc consequence to themselves. Sad to say as long as 'Cultural Crachach Nationalism' goes on persuing the impossible ideal of a 'Bilingual Wales', then for sure the 'Native Langauge' will continue to die in rural West and North West Wales. However, more and more attempting to save and sustain will be at great cost to the rest of the Country, I suspect that most 'Language Groups' internal or external to the Welsh Language Industry realise that Independence would mean a greater finnancial loss to 'Cymraeg' funding and thus they essentially have no real interest in any serious struggle for Independence. All they are interested is a continuing ready supply of 'Saxon Silver' to fund for ever and a day the Welsh Language Industry of wall to wall Eisteddfods and a 'ShamelessS4C' even less will watch over years to come. However, that is not to say nothing needs to be done to save and sustain 'Cymraeg' but please do not continue to belive this can be done on a Pan Wales basis, an impossible dream and that the rest of Socially - Economically declining Wales will put up with the cost of such and funding of a non productive 'Crachach Newydd'. However, there is but one answer here, the struggle for the Native Cultural Way of Life must be honest not confused by wider political issues and focused on what is possible, not least sitting on shoulders of the English Speaking Population for ever. Thus to start with Cymuned and Llais Gwynedd and rural Plant Crachach get your act together fast and work towards a:

So fin any sympathy for Jac's ideas from myself or Misarable Old Fart, forget Welsh Independence unless your also going to seek Welsh Independence from the EU - 'Evil Empire' or other wise what is the point of
being free of England, if we are still a European Colony. But the main problem is growing apathy, disillusionment and despair on the issue of Independence. Just note the main platform advancing Independence closed down which only leaves alunindyfed plugging away from an 'Independent Ireland', well Ireland is hardly Independent?

Myself, no matter what I have wrote in The Welsh Patriot Blog above, now believe that we must in main attempt what has priority need and is such that in associated areas we can win campaigns in. Such as S.O.S is the more than obvious course of action, think and possibly act on this fast as this is another of my blogs up for closure sooner as later.
